Morse wanted to develop a system of dots (.) and dashes (-) that would send messages along the telegraph quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">T\u00edch and T\u00e8<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In Morse code, each letter in the American alphabet corresponds to a specific combination of dots (t\u00edch) and dashes (t\u00e8), between one and four dots and\/or dashes in length.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>T\u00edch:<\/strong>&nbsp;short sound (.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>T\u00e8:<\/strong>&nbsp;long sound (-)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Morse Tree<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Morse tree is the quickest way for beginners to learn how to decode.
